How to say “come here” in Spanish
There are countless reasons why you may need to beckon someone over to you, whether they are a friend, waiter, police officer, teacher, taxi driver, and so on. There are several things to take into consideration when you are asking someone to come over in Spanish, if you want to avoid sounding rude. The first is the same as in English: say please. The other is more unique to Spanish: make sure you are using the to or usted form of the verb where it is appropriate. You may inadvertently be disrespecting somebody. Of course, if that is your intention, you could always sprinkle in some Spanish curse words – although we don’t necessarily recommend it.
